Dil Bechara Review: Story & Performances
Dil Bechara movie is Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie released on 24th July at
7.30 P.M on Disney+Hotstar. The story of the movie revolves around two
cancer patients Kizie and Manny. Kizie has thyroid cancer on the other hand Manny
has osteosarcoma.
It is the adaptation of John Green’s The Fault In Our Stars. Dil Bechara movie is completely an emotional journey of Kizie & Manny filled with
so much energy, and joyful moments that gives you Goosebumps.
The moment Sushant
appears in his first scene it was joy, energy, and happiness
all around that Kizie
forgot all her pains and kept watching him. The more she
watches and meets him
she cannot stop herself from falling for that fun-loving, carefree guy.
He will make you so emotionally connected with his character Manny.
He was
high on energy, full of life, and loves to enjoy life keeping aside all of
his
worries. His on-screen chemistry with Kizie has been fantastic and one of
the
main reasons that people loved the movie so much.
Sanjana Sanghi got the opportunity to work as the sole female lead character, and
Kizie Basu's character didn’t disappoint us. Being thoroughly fond of a boring
life, she became quite surprised to see an energetic, loving, joyous, cute, and full-of-life type of guy Manny.
Slowly, her world change, which makes her
more curious and interested to see
and meet Manny. From there the story starts
moving towards an interesting and
unexpected climax.
Saif Ali
Khan as Abhimanyu Veer had a very short time to impress but he was
priceless In that one scene also made it count. Such a good screen presence he has, his
character was of a musician whose last song was incomplete.
Saswata
Chatterjee and Swastika Mukherjee as Mr. & Mrs. Basu (Kizie’s
Father & Mother)
have also played their part well. Their occasional Bengali
speaking, also Swastika
telling Kizie to eat Sandesh has made things
look so real due to belonging
to a Bengali family.
Swastika’s character is a little bit cautious, loving, and a caring mother,
while Saswata Chatterjee has played the role of a sweet father.
Whether
it is about making his daughter understand and sort out things between
Kizie & Manny or it’s about making her wife convinced to permit their
daughter for the risky trip, he was there as a very good supporter.
Sahil Vaid
as J.P. was also equally supportive in contributing his part on
a high note. His
emotional quote on Manny’s pre-funeral was a
heart-touching. The strong
bonding between them was another
eye-catching part of this movie.
Talking
about director Mukesh Chhabra it was a great experience
for him to taste such success
in his debut movie as Director.
The music of Dil Bechara movie was scored by the Oscar-winning
Music Director A.R Rahman has tried to make all tracks hit.
The
songs are being loved by audiences and also trending on a few music apps.
It is a
tribute to our love for Sushant and we are hopeful that he is
watching all of
us wherever he is now. The movie got an IMDb rating
of 9.9 out of 10, which is
quite phenomenal. The fans are showering
their praise and love on the Dil Bechara movie
as well as on Sushant
Singh Rajput.
Dil Bechara movie is available on Disney+Hotstar for everyone
irrespective of subscription. It is
really worth watching. So, if you are
getting bored at home during this lockdown
then you can watch
this masterpiece.
