Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare Review:
Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare movie released on 18th September 2020. The story revolved around a middle-class woman Radha Yadav (played by Konkona Sen Sharma) popularly known as Dolly.
She and her husband Amit (played by Aamir Bashir) are working hard to buy their dream flat. They have two children and the younger son Pappu’s interest in playing with dolls surprises Dolly.
Dolly’s cousin Kajal (played by Bhumi Pednekar) came to Noida from the village in search of a job. Kajal informed Dolly that her husband Amit wanted to be physical with her. Dolly denied it and told her she might have misunderstood him.
Kajal first worked in a shoe factory but that didn’t work and she joined a call center. She actually worked for a romance app offering men lightly romantic conversations with women. She was given the name Kitty to use it on the chatting app.
Kajal was enjoying the freedom and the luxurious life of her own choice. On the other hand, Dolly was not happy with her boring married life. Due to some reasons, they did not enjoy lovemaking with each other.
Kajal found a good client in Pradeep (played by Vikram Massey), with whom she fell in love later. Dolly met with a delivery boy Usman (played by Amol Parasher) and after a few meetings, she started to like him.
Kajal finally decided to meet with Pradeep and where they got physical. On Rose Day they met and a casual raid by police got them arrested along with many other lovers who were present at that place.
The incident gave a lesson to Kajal to understand the real face of Pradeep, who left the police station without requesting Kajal’s release.
Meanwhile, Dolly also got physical with Usman which gave her so much relief for being able to do it after almost 2 years.
Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare is about the power-packed performances delivered by Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar. They were well supported by other cast, especially Aamir Bashir, Vikram Massey, and Amol Parasher.
