Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari Movie Story & Performances:

The movie started with an introduction video by Suraj

Singh Dhillon(Diljit Dosanjh). His father Gurunam Singh

Dhillon (Manoj Phawa) came to Bombay from Punjab.

He wanted to leave a great impact on this city but after

his so much hard work Gurunam Singh failed to do that.

Then he married Radha(Seema Bhargava) and his life

changed forever. Suraj also wants a decent well-cultured girl as her wife.

His friend Sukhi educating him about the modern girl’s

interest in the cool guys. He took Sukhi’s suggestion

seriously & started drinking, disobeying the traffic signals.

Through a local matchmaker, they went to meet a girl’s

family. The girl’s father showed Gurunam Singh the

photos where Suraj was drinking, breaking the traffic

signals, etc. They returned home after being insulted

by the girl’s family.

Suraj came to know through the matchmaker, that

someone named Madhu Mangal Rane(Manoj Bajpayee),

a wedding detective had done the job of sending

those pictures to the girl’s family.

Suraj & Sukhi decided to find that detective and take

revenge. They reached his office & Mangal’s sister Turshi

(Fatima Sana Shaikh) also reached there at the same

time.

Suraj fell for her at first sight but they had to run away.

Turshi shouted, considering them thieves, as it was a night

they successfully ran away.

Suraj followed Turshi and met her on a few occasions.

She informed him that she works as a DJ at night.

Mangal had fixed Turshi’s marriage with a Govt employee.

A news article was published about DJ Turshi which made

that guy change his decision.

Mangal came to know that Suraj was responsible for all

these. He decided to teach him a lesson and fixed his

sister’s marriage with Suraj. On the day of marriage, he

planned a drama and successfully executed to stop their

marriage.

Abhishek Sharma, the director of Parmanu: The Story

Of Pokhran and a few other hit movies, tried his hand in

Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari romantic comedy genre movie.

This is the first Bollywood movie that has released after a

long gap due to this pandemic. The movie mainly lacked

some twists & emotional scenes to be considered as a

special one.

The plot was also very weak and failed to bring the best

from the stars like Annu Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, Fatima

Sana Shaikh, Supriya Pilgaonkar.

The only mentionable performances came from the

acting stalwarts Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh.

Also, the music composed by Javed–Mohsin and

Kingshuk Chakravarty was pretty good, especially

Basanti & Waareya songs.

If you are just planning to refresh yourself by attending

the Cinema Hall after a long time then go and watch
