Charitraheen Season 3 Web Series Review: Story & Performances
Director Debaloy Bhattacharya's mystery thriller Charitraheen Season 3 starring Sourav Das, Naina Ganguly, Swastika Mukherjee, Mumtaz Sorcar, & Sourav Chakraborty & comprising 10 episodes premiered on Hoichoi on 24th December 2020.
The story of season 3 revolves around Rabeya (Swastika Mukherjee), a psychiatrist who met Satish (Saurav Das), a tourist guide during her vacation. As Rabeya belongs to a different caste, a few local people became violent. The situation got worse and forced them to hide somewhere. Their conversation started which converted into an untimely romance that might make you quite surprised.
Both of them have an unforgettable past. Satish is still hopeful of getting Kiranmoyee (Naina Ganguly) back into his life. The people around him including his elder sister Nirupama (Mumtaz Sorcar) and brother-in-law Abhay (Sourav Chakraborty) kept forcing him to believe the news of Kiranmoyee’s death.
Rabeya is previously known as Anuja but due to the caste difference with her boyfriend Shoaib, they had chosen to suicide. Anuja being afraid of it, failed to jump from the rooftop and Shoaib died alone there. The incident still hunts Rabeya.
Director Debaloy Bhattacharya whose Dracula Sir movie received a huge response, did not miss the opportunity to impress the audience in Charitraheen Season 3 also. Saurav Das as Satish is simply brilliant. His madness, love for Kiranmoyee, and desire to get her back in his life will make you fall in love with him again and again.
Swastika Mukherjee was very impressive throughout the series. Her last release on Hoichoi was Tasher Ghawr which also received good reviews from audiences. Naina Ganguly also did justice to her given role. The plot was too weak to offer any thrill. It only highlighted the painful sides of the love stories repeatedly. Naina Ganguly got very less scope to leave any major impact on Charitraheen Season 3.
Mumtaz Sorcar & Sourav Chakraborty rarely had anything to add some value to the overall performances. Amit-Ishan musical duo was successful in offering us some good music. Especially the songs “Tumi Ondho Hoye Jao” & “Khuje Pawa Ek Shite” have taken a place in the audience’s hearts.
Overall Charitraheen Season 3 has a bitter storyline with a better climax. If you have already watched season 1 & season 2 and were more excited about season 3 then you may be disappointed.
