Hello Charlie movie Story & Performances:
Hello Charlie movie is the directorial debut of Pankaj
Saraswat. He wrote the dialogues for the movie Main, Meri Patni…Aur Woh!, Which
was released in 2005. He also worked in many films and web series as an actor.
Some of his movies, web series are Criminal Justice Season
1, Criminal Justice-Behind Closed Doors (Season 2), Milan Talkies, Revolver
Rani, etc.
The story revolves around Chirag Rastogi or Charlie(Aadar
Jain) who came to Mumbai from Indore. He will be staying at his uncle’s (Darshan
Jariwala) residence until he repays his father’s loan.
Due to his inexperience and incapability, he was thrown out
of many jobs. He finally managed to get the job of a delivery boy.
Adar Jain’s voice and sometimes the look might remind you
about his cousin Ranbir Kapoor. A few of the scenes might give you the feel of the
“Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani” movie.
On the other side, we saw Industrialist M.D Makwana (Jackie
Shroff), a wanted fraudster planned to leave the country. His girlfriend, model
Mona (Elnaaz Norouzi) is helping him in executing a plan. As per her plan, Makwana
will leave in the guise of a gorilla.
Charlie got the chance to send the gorilla to its
destination. On the way, he met the greedy circus owner Patel (Girish Kulkarni)
who offered him huge money to buy that gorilla for his circus.
Aadar Jain made his Bollywood debut with the movie “Qaidi
Band” which was released in 2017. In such a comedy-drama genre movie his
performance could have made a huge difference but he failed to impress.
Jackie Shroff rarely got any chance to provide you the
reason for a laugh as he was in the guise of the gorilla throughout the movie.
Pankaj Saraswat’s choice of a comedy-drama genre for his directorial
debut is not bad but the story lacks enough funny elements to keep the audience
engaged.
The first 20 minutes of the movie was the only good thing
about this plot. Thereafter it went on towards the worse and end up leaving it
completely messy.
Even the presence of two comedy superstars Rajpal Yadav and Girish
Kulkarni also didn’t leave any good impact here.
