Radhe Movie Story & Performances:

“Radhe” has arrived on Eid 2021 as per his commitment. The excitement was on top and the expectations were also quite high that resulted in ZEE5’s server crash due to massive traffic.

The story revolves around the time when the city of dream Mumbai in complete control of drug peddlers. One of the senior officers in a meeting approached to bring back Radhe(Salman Khan) revoking his suspension. Radhe is an undercover cop & affable encounter specialist with an unbelievable track record of 97 encounters, 23 transfers in 10 years.

Like his almost every other action movie Salman Khan’s entry scene was with a solid punch line saying “Radhe jane ke liye nehi, vejne ke liye aaya hai”. He promised a young student who lost his best friend due to drugs, to clean the city by putting all the drug peddlers behind the bars or under the grave.

Radhe met Diya(Disha Patani), then his charming personality and a series of lies made her fall for him. Her brother Avinash(Jackie Shroff), a confusing personality was there to make things even worse.

Jackie Shroff is just choosing some forgetful characters of late. A brilliant actor went underutilized or should we say unutilized. We have seen another of his worse chosen character in the “Hello Charlie” movie.

The entry of drug lord Rana(Randeep Hooda) will give you the experience of brutality. One of the finest actors in recent times had so much to offer but the script had something else for him.

Few of us had guessed “Radhe” to be the sequel of “Wanted” movie as Radhe repeats his famous dialogue “Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di, uske baad to main apne aap ki bhi nehi sunta” here also. But sadly, it was nowhere near to the “Wanted” movie which was the remake of Mahesh Babu starrer movie “Pokiri”.

"Radhe" is the remake of “The Outlaws”, a South Korean movie directed by Kang Yoon-Sung. The movie released on 3 October 2017 and had received good reviews with an IMDB rating of 7.2. Salman starrer movie’s IMDB rating falls to 2.4 as of 15.05.2021.

The “Radhe” movie failed due to mainly unconvincing dialogues and weakly written characters. Except for Salman Khan acting, Randeep Hooda’s brutality in such a negative character was quite impressive.

Disha Patani fits nowhere in it except for her presence in those peppy tracks, other than that she had hardly anything to do here.

And I should not miss mentioning the hilarious scene in the climax where Randeep Hooda was hitting on Salman Khan’s hand repeatedly with a rod. One can understand what should have been the condition of his hand but then there was Prabhudeva who kept the hero unaffected even here.

Megha Akash’s Nikisha character had rarely got an opportunity to make her presence felt except for 2, 3 scenes.

This is not the kind of gift we had expected but then the Box Office collection shows good signs.
