Paap Season 2 Review: Story & Performances

Many among us keep wondering whether it will be a good idea to watch season 2 of a web series when they missed season 1. Well, much depends on the story of the show. For example, I can say about The Family Man on Amazon Prime Video, if someone has missed season 1, it won’t be difficult to understand what’s going on in season 2.

To give the audience an overview of what happened in earlier episodes; Hoichoi TV has provided the recap of “Paap Season 1”. If you have watched season 1 then you know it was full of mysteries and suspense.

On the return of Parboni (Puja Banerjee) aka Paru to the Chowdhury family in Palashpur, two people were murdered in the same pattern. To investigate the case and find out the murderer Police Inspector Haldar (Rahul Banerjee) started the investigation.

Paru lost her memories due to an accident. But she was the prime suspect in the eyes of Inspector Haldar. As per the information given by Paru, there was the possibility of four more murders in the Chowdhury family.

The editing, cinematography, and background score were all quite good in Paap Season 2 Antim Pawrbo. But the slow-paced narrative at the beginning and some repetitive scenes from Paru’s past might give you the feeling that season 1 was far better. The twist, in the end, was certainly the best part of Season 2.

Final Words:

Puja Banerjee and Rahul Banerjee both were equally brilliant with their respective characters. Director Joydeep Mukherjee was successful in keeping the suspense alive till the end. We have seen some of his good works in Eken Babu Season 4 & Detective.

The rest of the cast including Saheb Bhattacharya, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Indrajit Chakravarty, and Mithu Chakraborty also provided valuable performances. If you have not watched Paap Season 2 Antim Pawrbo yet then you can add it to your watch list of murder mystery thrillers for a one-time watch.
