Vakeel Saab Review: Story & Performances
There was hype on social media about the power star Pawan
Kalyan’s comeback with the movie “Vakeel Saab” after three long years. The
movie is the adaptation of Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s movie “Pink”.
The story of Vakeel Saab revolves around three young girls Pallavi
(Nivetha Thomas), Zareena (Anjali), and Divya (Ananya Nagalla). They are close
friends who stay together but work at different offices In Hyderabad.’
One day while returning from an office party their hired car
broke down on the way. They were asking for help from other cars as the cab service
was unavailable at that time. One car stopped where Pallavi (Nivetha Thomas)
found one of her schoolmates in it and they went with them.
After some time an injured Vamsi(Vamsi Krishna) was taken to
hospital. Vamsi belongs to a political family background a case was registered
against those three girls.
The helpless girls found a savior in lawyer Satyadev(Pawan
Kalyan) popularly known as Vakeel Saab. He took over their case against the
criminal lawyer Nanda Gopal (Prakash Raj).
Director Sriram Venu made his directorial debut with the Telugu
romantic drama “Oh My Friend” in 2011. His direction in the “Vakeel Saab” movie
was also highly impressive.
The courtroom drama between Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj was
the best part of the “Vakeel Saab” movie. The fighting spirit of girls instead
of many obstacles was encouraging.
The power star Pawan Kalyan delivered a powerful performance
here. Prakash Raj. Pawan’s was not far away either. His dialogues and fight
scenes with Pawan Kalyan in court were exceptionally well.
Nivetha Thomas also delivered an impactful performance. Shruti Haasan with her little screen presence as Vakeel Saab’s wife was convincing.
