Avane Srimannarayana Movie Review: Story
There is a certain time period for almost every Film Industry when it
raises the audiences’ expectations. We have seen a glimpse of where the
Kannada Film Industry is heading towards through the movie KGF Chapter
1.
Director Sachin Ravi’s directorial debut movie Avane Srimannarayana
starring Rakshit Shetty certainly makes us hungrier for more action-comedy
movies like this.
The story revolves around a fictional village named Amaravati. During the
feudal period, the feudal lord Rama Rama (Madhusudhan Rao) was in critical
condition yet he was not ready to announce his successor. He wanted to
declare the successor only after getting back the lost treasure.
He also told Jayarama(Balaji Manohar) to assure him that he will look after
his step-brother Tukarama(Pramod Shetty) and won’t harm him. Jayarama was
angry with his father’s decision but he promised him about taking care of
Tukarama.
The story took a turn with the grand entry of a bad cop, Inspector
Narayana(Rakshit Shetty). He along with constable Achyutanna (Achyut Kumar)
were given the task to find out the hidden treasure and save local people
including journalist Lakshmi(Shanvi Srivastava).
Performance & Analysis:
Rakshit Shetty certainly delivered his best performance for the movie Avane
Srimannarayana in his career till date. Shanvi Srivastava was also highly
impressive for her character Lakshmi.
We often see mainstream movies are mainly dominated by heroes. But in Avane
Srimannarayana we have seen two antagonists Balaji Manohar and Pramod Shetty
were given a good screen presence and they were equally impressive with
their respective characters.
Rishab Shetty, the director of Rakshit Shetty-RashmikaMandanna
starrer movie Kirik Party, was seen doing a cameo of a cowboy. Achyuth Kumar
as constable Achyutanna was simply outstanding.
Rakshit and Achyut were able to make us laugh even during some serious
scenes. The adaptation of Lord Rama & Lord Narayana’s stories has made
the narrative more interesting.
The technical standards of Avane Srimannarayana movie also deserve a
mention. Only the lengthy script of the movie might make you a little bit
upset.
What Avane Srimannarayana promises to offer?
Avane Srimannarayana is a visual treat and a complete package of a
mainstream film. Starting from the top-notch performances of Rakshit Shetty,
Shanvi Srivastava, Achyuth Kumar, Balaji Manohar, Pramod Shetty to brilliant
writing, cinematography, presentation, & Ajaneesh Loknath’s situational
background score and music won’t allow you to leave your seats.
