Rang De Movie Story:
Tired of watching love stories? Looking for something interesting that can
keep you hooked to your seats? Director Venky Atluri has brought together
Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh for the first time & created solid chemistry
between these two.
Arjun(Nithiin), is a happy kid living with his parents(Naresh & Kausalya) and
an elder sister(Gayathri Raguram). Just when he was feeling the need for a
partner to play with him, Anupama AKA Anu arrived there to live with her
mother Shailaja(Rohini).
From childhood, Arjun was asked to follow and learn from Anu, as he was not a
meritorious student. He was loved and cared for by everyone around him until
Anu’s arrival. After her arrival, he did not get the required attention from
everyone, which made him jealous of Anu, and slowly, it turned into hatred. On
the other hand, Anu started liking Arjun.
He decided to move to Dubai for completing his MBA, just to escape those
comparisons made with Anu. To secure a good score on GMAT, he decided to
choose the wrong way of cheating, getting help from one (Brahmaji) of his
friends. Coming to know about his plan, Anu also decided to take admission in
the same college as him.
Unhappy with this Arjun conspire & fixes Anu’s marriage. On the wedding
day, she kissed Arjun and he went senseless for some time. Later he had to
marry Anu. The rest of the story is about how their married life survives.
Performances & Analysis:
Director Venky Atluri focused more on delivering good chemistry between
Arjun-Anu which was the main factor that 'Rang De' leaves a good impression.
It was Keerthy Suresh who once again lived up to the expectations. We have
seen her also in “Miss India” delivering a solid performance.
Nithiin did not disappoint either but his expressions and body language could
have been better in a few scenes. The rest of the supporting cast also
provided valuable contributions with their respective performances.
What does Rang De promise to offer?
'Rang De' is a romantic comedy that offers nothing new in terms of plot but it
has all the elements to keep you engaged throughout the movie. The romantic
scenes, the emotional dialogues, and the great compositions by
Devi Sri Prasad
are the highlights of this movie.
Nithiin’s upcoming movie is 'Maestro' which is the remake of Ayushmann
Khurrana, Tabu, and
Radhika Apte
starrer movie Andhadhun.
Tamannaah, Nabha Natesh, and Jisshu Sengupta
are the other lead cast of “Maestro”.
