Chiranjeevi & Meher Ramesh’s Maiden Collaboration:

On the special occasion of his 66^th birthday, Chiranjeevi brought back-to-back surprises for fans. After announcing his 153^rd movie “Godfather” just before the day of his birthday, he announced his 155^th movie on his birthday. The movie has been titled “Bhola Shankar”, directed by Meher Ramesh.

Bhola Shankar marks the maiden collaboration between Chiranjeevi & Meher Ramesh. Superstar Mahesh Babu had revealed the title on his official social media pages on the day of "Rakshabandhan". The title announcement video already crossed 1M Views and it was the fastest to achieve this on Twitter.

Keerthy Suresh will be portraying the character of Chiranjeevi’s sister in the movie. She will be also seen in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie “SarkaruVaari Paata”. Other casts of the movie are yet to be finalized. Rama Brahmam Sunkara who had previously produced Gopichand’s movie “Chanakya” will produce the “Bhola Shankar” movie.

The movie is the official remake of the director Siva’s action-thriller Vedalam starring Ajith Kumar, Lakshmi Menon, Shruti Haasan which was released on 10^th November 2015. “Vedalam” had received good responses from the critics and fans.

Director Meher Ramesh’s last movie “Shadow” starring Venkatesh, Srikanth, Taapsee Pannu, Madhurima was released on 26th April 2013. He is so much excited to collaborate with Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Chiranjeevi was last seen in director Surender Reddy’s movie “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” which was released on 2^nd October 2019.
