As per the official announcement, “Anek” will be released in theatres on 31st March 2022.
Ayushmann Khurrana & Anubhav Sinha’s Second Collaboration after Article 15:
The actor is reuniting with director Anubhav Sinha after “Article 15” in 2019. Ayushmann Khurrana’s screen name in “Anek” is Joshua & the still from the movie he shared was a completely new avatar we are going to see him in. Ayushmann Khurrana was quite happy with his role as he loves doing challenging characters.
“Anek” will be bankrolled by producers Anubhav Sinha, Bhushan Kumar under their banners Benaras Mediaworks and T-Series. The shooting of this socio-political thriller was mainly done in the Northeast & the shooting was wrapped on 20th March 2021.
Ayushmann Khurrana will also feature in debutant director Anirudh Iyer’s movie “Action Hero” & director Anubhuti Kashyap’s movie “Doctor G” & director Abhishek Kapoor’s romantic drama movie “Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui”.
Director Anubhav Sinha’s last movie was “Thappad” starring Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
