'Action Hero' is actor Ayushmann Khurrana & producer Aanand L Rai’s third collaboration after 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan', and 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhan'.
This is the very first time we will see Ayushmann Khurrana in an action-genre movie. He was excited to be part of this movie as well as collaborating with Aanand L Rai & Bhushan Kumar. Aanand L Rai was equally excited to be able to collaborate with Khurrana & is currently busy shooting for his upcoming directorial movies “Atrangi Re” & “Raksha Bandhan”.
“Action Hero” will be jointly bankrolled by producers Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under their banners Colour Yellow Productions & T-Series. The shooting of this movie will be mainly done in India and UK.
“Action Hero” also marks the directorial debut of Anirudh Iyer who was the first assistant director in the movie “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”. The movie has been scheduled for release in 2022. The teaser, trailer, and other cast are yet to be announced.
Ayushmann Khurrana shared the screen with Amitabh Bachchan in his last movie “Gulabo Sitabo”.
