Bengali Actress Rukmini Maitra’s Bollywood Debut:
Kanishk Varma who had made his directorial debut in Bollywood with Footfairy is back again with his upcoming action thriller “Sanak”. Bengali actress Rukmini Maitra, who has finished shooting for her upcoming Bengali movie “Kishmish” starring Dev, will be making her Bollywood debut with “Sanak”.
Sanak Movie Cast:
Vidyut Jammwal will be playing the character of Vivaan Ahuja while Rukmini Maitra will be portraying the character of Anshika. “Yaara”, “Khuda Haafiz”, “The Power”, are Vidyut Jammwal’s last 3 released movies, where his performances received accolades from critics as well as audiences. He will be also seen in director Faruk Kabir’s upcoming movie “Khuda Haafiz Chapter II” co-starring Shivaleeka Oberoi & Dibyendu Bhattacharya, the sequel of his movie “Khuda Haafiz”.
Chandan Roy Sanyal whose performance in the “Aashram” web series was highly impressive will be playing the lead negative role in the “Sanak” movie. Chandan Roy who did a fantastic job in a supporting role in the “Panchayat” web series starring Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, will be playing a crucial role in this movie too.
Neha Dhupia, Amole Gupte will be also seen in pivotal roles. Zee Studios, Sunshine Pictures have jointly bankrolled this movie.
Sanak Movie Trailer Review:
The trailer promises a high voltage action drama. The plot is about Vivaan & Anshika’s love and their struggles during the operation for Anshika’s heart disease. A group of terrorists led by Chandan Roy Sanyal took hospital staff and patients as hostages, leading to Vidyut Jammwal’s arrival to rescue Anshika from this situation.
