Mission Majnu Release Date:
As per the latest update on 2nd November 2021, the movie will release in theatres on 13th May 2022.
Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna’s Maiden Collaboration:
This is also the first time we will see the pair Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna on screen. Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta will jointly bankroll Mission Majnu under their banners RSVP Movies and Guilty By Association Media LLP.
Sidharth Malhotra delivered an outstanding performance in his previous movie Shershaah co-starring Kiara Advani. He will also feature in director Indra Kumar’s movie Thank God, which also includes stars like Ajay Devgn, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Rakul Preet Singh.
Rashmika Mandanna was nominated for the 10th SIIMA Awards in the Best Actress – Telugu category for her performance in Sarileru Neekevvaru starring Mahesh Babu in the male lead.
Rashmika Mandanna’s Bollywood Debut:
After making her Tamil debut in 2021 with the movie “Sulthan” opposite Karthi, Rashmika Mandanna is set to make her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Her upcoming Pan India movie “Pushpa Part-01” will release in theatres on 17th December 2021. She will also feature in movies like “Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu”, “Goodbye”.
Shantanu Bagchi’s Directorial Debut in Bollywood:
Shantanu Bagchi has earlier directed the TV short “Nycil Cool Shower” which means he will be making his directorial debut in Bollywood with “Mission Majnu”.
“The Family Man” series fame Sharib Hashmi will also portray an important role in this movie. Kumud Mishra was last seen in “Sardar Ka Grandson”, also his performances in last year’s “Ram Singh Charlie” & “Thappad” were praiseworthy & he will also feature in Tadap movie. Special OPS, State of Siege: Temple Attack, Laxmii fame actor Mir Sarwar is also a part of this spy thriller movie.
