Actor Shahid Kapoor and Director Ali Abbas Zafar’s Maiden Collaboration

The shooting of actor Shahid Kapoor and director Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming movie has started in UAE on 12th November 2021. The film which marks the maiden collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Ali Abbas Zafar hasn’t been titled yet and will be a Jio Studios presentation.
As per the reports, Shahid Kapoor will portray the character of a cop. The rest of the cast and other details like the teaser, the trailer of this film which is expected to arrive in 2022, haven’t been shared yet officially. The star also hinted that the movie could be a crazy, quirky, mad ride of guns & gangs.
The duo shared a picture on social media while kickstarting the shooting, where both were laughing.
The Udta Punjab star’s upcoming sports-drama Jersy movie co-starring Mrunal Thakur will release this year in December. He will feature in Aditya Nimbalkar’s directorial debut Bull movie & will be making his debut on OTT with the upcoming series of Raj-DK co-starring Raashi Khanna and Vijay Sethupathi.
The Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai fame director has made his OTT debut this year with Amazon Prime Video’s series Tandav starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Anup Soni, Kritika Kamra.
The film has been titled Bloody Daddy and it will premiere directly on OTT on 9th June 2023.
