After announcing Karna Subarner Guptodhon on 31st December 2021, SVF Entertainment Pvt Ltd has announced their next movie titled Ballavpurer Roopkotha on 1st January 2022 which is based on Badal Sarkar’s drama Ballavpurer Rupkotha. Anirban Bhattacharya is the co-writer of this movie with Prateek Dutta.

It is the story of Rajbari of Ballavpur where Bhupati Ray and Manohar stay. Just when they were getting hopeless to recover from the debt, they received a proposal for selling their property. The rest of the story revolves around the hilarious incidents of that night created by Bhupati Ray, Manohar, buyers, and a ghost in Rajbari.

The #12Producers group created by SVF had first announced that Eken Babu would be released in theatres in 2022. They went on to add Kuler Achaar and now Ballavpurer Roopkotha.

The Bengali horror comedy film Ballavpurer Roopkotha will mark the big-screen debut of Anirban Bhattacharya as a director. Having Soumik Halder as DOP, Subhadeep Guha, and Debraj Bhattacharya as music directors, Anirban Bhattacharya seems to leave no stone unturned to give the audience the best cinematic experience with this horror-comedy movie.

Anirban Bhattacharya has already delivered the masterpiece Mandar on Hoichoi, his directorial debut on the OTT platform. Besides winning hearts with his acting as a supporting cast in Mandaar & Golondaaj, his performance in Mukhosh was highly impressive.
