The much-anticipated trailer of Varisu was finally released on 04.01.2023 and the 2 minutes 29 seconds trailer gave a lot of details about the script which doesn’t look like an exciting one. The plot of this Vamshi Paidipally directorial family entertainer revolves around Vijay who is the youngest child of a business tycoon played by R. Sarathkumar and comes across a lot of challenges after his father’s death. Will Vijay be able to save his family and their business?
After Master in 2021 and Beast in 2022, Superstar Vijay is ready to entertain fans in Pongal this year with some amazing action sequences, emotions, and romance. Varisu will clash with Superstar Ajith Kumar starrer movie Thunivu directed by H. Vinoth. Before this maiden collaboration with Vijay, Vamshi Paidipally directed movies like Munna, Brindavanam, Yevadu, Oopiri, Thozha, & Maharshi.
Rashmika Mandanna will share the screen space with Vijay for the first time in her career and she is excited about the project. The actress was featured in movies like Sita Ramam, Goodbye & Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu in 2022, and apart from Varisu, she will be featured in upcoming movies like Mission Majnu, Animal, & Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The veteran Prakash Raj who appeared in more than 400 films will portray the negative role in this movie. Prabhu, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, & Khushbu will portray crucial roles in this movie. Cinematography by Karthik Palani, Editing by Praveen K. L., & Music by Thaman S will be the other major attractions of this rom-com family drama which will be released in Telugu titled Vaarasudu.
The trailer created a new record with 22M views on YouTube in just 21 hours but the story of this movie looks partly similar to Mahesh Babu-Shruti Haasan starrer movie Srimanthudu in 2015 directed by Koratala Siva.
