Soumik Halder directorial comedy-drama film Abar Bibaho Obhijaan will be released in theatres on 13th April 2023.

Abar Bibaho Obhijaan is the sequel of Birsa Dasgupta directorial comedy-drama film Bibaho Obhijaan starring which was released on 21st June 2019. The comedy in parts and the solid performances from the leads helped the film do good business at the Box Office. An unchanged star cast including Anirban Bhattacharya, Rudranil Ghosh, Ankush Hazra, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, & Nusrat Faria will be seen in the lead roles.

This time we will see the story of 3 married couples and how their married life progresses through ups and downs. Rudranil Ghosh and Jeet Gannguli will be responsible for the screenplay and music direction respectively in this film produced by SVF Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

The film marks Soumik Halder’s first big-screen release as a Director & previously he directed projects like Barood & Mahabharat Murders. He is one of the best cinematographers in the industry whose notable works include Mitthye Premer Gaan, Dwitiyo Purush, Hatyapuri, Ballabhpurer Roopkotha, Dharmajuddha, Karnasubarner Guptodhon, Kakababur Protyaborton, Mandaar, & Golondaaj, etc.
