On the occasion of Poila Boisakh, the makers of the upcoming family drama Kirtan shared the official poster of this film. The film starring Paran Bandyopadhyay, Arunima Ghosh, & Gourab Chatterjee is directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee & has been scheduled to be released in theatres soon.
The story is about the relationship between a daughter-in-law & a father-in-law that we generally see in any middle-class family. Arunima Ghosh will portray the character of Manimala, Gourab Chatterjee will play the character of Manimala’s husband Arup, & Paran Bandyopadhyay will play the character of Manimala’s father-in-law Abinash.
Manimala is concerned about her child and wants to settle down in a better place leaving the ancestral home but Abinash disagrees with this with her. Arup faces more challenges in order to make his wife as well as his father happy. How things will be sorted between Manimala and Abinash forms the plot of Kirtan.
The family drama produced by Camellia Productions Pvt. Ltd marks the maiden collaboration between Arunima Ghosh and Gourab Chatterjee.
Abhimanyu Mukherjee directed the last two projects Indu 2 & Hello!! Remember Me? failed to leave any good impact on audiences. Gourab Chatterjee was last seen in the romantic drama film Ghore Pherar Gaan but delivered a forgetful performance.
Paran Bandyopadhyay has delivered some top-notch performances in Tonic, Kishmish, Aparajito, Hatyapuri, & Dilkhush and the versatile actor will be seen in the upcoming film ‘Pradhan’ alongside Dev.
