Dev Entertainment Ventures shared the first look of Rukmini Maitra as Satyabati on her birthday

On June 27, 2023, DEV Entertainment Ventures celebrated Rukmini Maitra's 32nd birthday by unveiling the first-look poster of her character in the upcoming detective thriller, Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya directed by Birsa Dasgupta. In the film, she takes on the role of Satyabati, the wife of the renowned detective Byomkesh Bakshi.

The poster showcases Rukmini Maitra looking stunning as Satyabati. This character presents yet another challenge for her as she portrays a pregnant woman. Dev, on the other hand, will be portraying the iconic character of Byomkesh Bakshi, while Ambarish Bhattacharya will be seen as Ajit in Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya.

Rukmini Maitra made her debut in the film industry with Raj Chakraborty's directorial venture, Chaamp, and has since appeared in several films including Kishmish, Switzerland, Password, Kidnap, Kabir, and Cockpit. She also made her Bollywood debut in 2021 with the film Sanak, starring alongside Vidyut Jammwal. She will be featured in the upcoming film Binodini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan.

Satyam Bhattacharya, known for his work in the television series Ballabhpurer Roopkotha, will be playing a crucial character in the film. Rajatabha Dutta and Debesh Chattopadhyay will also be portraying significant roles in this thrilling movie.
