Tiger 3: Director Maneesh Sharma’s upcoming film is set for a Pan India release
On 2nd September 2023, Yash Raj Films officially confirmed via their social media platform that the highly anticipated spy thriller, featuring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is set to release across the entirety of India this Diwali. The film will be available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. This monumental project marks Yash Raj Films' 50th production and stands out as their most extravagant venture to date, boasting a staggering budget of Rs 300 crores.
This spy thriller also marks a significant milestone for director Maneesh Sharma, as it represents his fifth directorial endeavor. Prior to this, he helmed projects such as "Band Baaja Baaraat," "Ladies vs Ricky Bahl," "Shuddh Desi Romance," and Fan. "Tiger 3" represents his first collaboration with the charismatic Salman Khan. The star-studded cast includes Emraan Hashmi, Ashutosh Rana, Revathi, Ranvir Shorey, Gavie Chahal, Vishal Jethwa, and Riddhi Dogra.
In a thrilling twist, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan will be making cameo appearances, reprising their iconic roles from "Pathaan" and "War," respectively. These cameo appearances serve to intertwine the narrative of "Tiger 3" with the events of these two blockbuster films.
This year has already witnessed Salman Khan making a cameo appearance in "Pathaan," and his film "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" achieved remarkable success at the box office, amassing over Rs 180 crores worldwide.
Katrina Kaif, on the other hand, last graced the silver screen in the highly successful "Sooryavanshi," which garnered a box office collection exceeding Rs 300 crores worldwide. However, her most recent film, "Phone Bhoot," proved to be a box office disappointment.
"Tiger 3" marks the sixth collaboration between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan, following their previous work in "Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya?," "Yuvvraaj," "Ek Tha Tiger," "Tiger Zinda Hai," and "Bharat." They also shared the screen in the film "Partner."
The captivating storyline of "Tiger 3" has been penned by Aditya Chopra, while Shridhar Raghavan takes charge of the screenplay. Anckur Chowdhary is the creative force behind the film's dialogues.
The music for the film will be composed by the talented Pritam, while Anay Goswami will oversee the cinematography. Rameshwar S. Bhagat will assume the role of film editor, ensuring a seamless cinematic experience for the audience.
