Tara Sutaria, known for her roles in romantic comedies and action films, will take on a more serious character in her upcoming movie Apurva. She will play the titular role in this survival thriller, which is both written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The film is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 15th of this year.
The first look poster of Apurva was revealed at Delhi's renowned Lav Kush Ramlila. This project is a collaboration between Star Studios and Cine1 Studios, marking the first partnership between Star Studios and producer Murad Khetani.
The film's narrative centers around Apurva, an ordinary girl who must confront challenging circumstances in her life. The film will unveil the trials she faces and how she manages to overcome them to survive. Stay tuned for the upcoming teaser and trailer releases.
Apurva will be Tara Sutaria's 6th film, following Student of the Year 2, Marjaavaan, Tadap, Heropanti 2, Ek Villain Returns, and her first project of 2023.
