Actress Mimi Chakraborty is on the brink of celebrating her 11th year in the Bengali film industry this December, marking her debut in 2012 with the film "Bapi Bari Jaa," directed by Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha.
She is poised to make her debut in the world of OTT platforms with the upcoming web series "Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo" on Hoichoi. The screenplay and dialogues for the series have been skillfully crafted by Rohit Dey and Soumya.
The directorial helm is in the capable hands of Chandasish Ray, who made his directorial debut with "Nirontor" in 2020. The announcement teaser for the series, a brief but enticing 28-second glimpse, was unveiled during the grand event of Hoichoi's 7th season. In this series, Mimi Chakraborty will be portraying the role of a defense lawyer.
Her most recent appearance on screen was in "Khela Jawkhon" last year, and she is also set to grace us with her presence in upcoming films like "Raktabeej" ("Rawktobeej") and "Shastry Virudh Shastry."
