Today, Hoichoi unveiled the trailer for its upcoming crime thriller series, Bodhon 2. The web series stars Sandipta Sen, reprising her role as Raka Sen from Season 1, and Koushik Roy, who will also reprise his role as DM Riju Sanyal.
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer showcases Raka Sen and DM Riju Sanyal visiting Ipilpur, a village 200 KM away from their hometown, for their honeymoon. Now married, they soon discover that a powerful local figure, Satyaprakash (Loknath Dey), and his son Sukhen (Indrasish Roy) are involved in girls trafficking, with full support from the local police. Will Raka be able to put a stop to these inhuman activities and stand against the powerful men to save the people of Ipilpur?
Directed by Aditi Roy, the series marks her third collaboration with Sandipta Sen. Their previous collaborations, Bodhon and Noshtoneer, were well-received by audiences, and this partnership continues in Noshtoneer 2.
In addition to Sandipta Sen and Koushik Roy, Sampurna Mondal, Soumi Chatterjee, Debojyoti Roy Chowdhury, Saptarshi Roy, and Debdutta Raha will also play crucial roles in this series, which has been written by Sarbari Ghosal.
Hoichoi released the announcement teaser on November 15, and the official poster for the series was unveiled on November 18.
