Thandel (NC23) Movie: Chandoo Mondeti's 3rd Collaboration with Naga Chaitanya

On the 22nd of November 2023, during the grand celebration of Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya's 37th birthday, the first look poster of his upcoming film Thandel was unveiled. The movie, directed by Chandoo Mondeti, stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Originally referred to as NC23, Thandel stands out as the most expensive project in Naga Chaitanya's career.

This film marks a notable reunion between Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, following their successful collaboration in the hit film Love Story. The first look poster showcases Naga Chaitanya seated on a boat, sporting a beard and mustache.

Presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Bunny Vas, Thandel signifies the third collaboration between director Chandoo Mondeti and Naga Chaitanya, following Premam and Savyasachi, and the first collaboration with Sai Pallavi. The music for the film will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Shamdat takes charge of the cinematography. The official release date and the complete cast list are yet to be officially announced.

In the current year, Naga Chaitanya's sole release was Custody, whereas Sai Pallavi did not have any theatrical releases. Her last appearance was in director Gautham Ramachandran's Gargi, and she is set to feature in Siva Kartikeyan's upcoming film tentatively titled SK21. Chandoo Mondeti's next directorial venture is Karthikeya 3.
