Tungkulung E Eken Khuner Age Khuni Khoja (2023) Trailer Review:
On November 24, 2023, Hoichoi unveiled the trailer for their upcoming web series, Tungkulung E Eken. Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the series is set to premiere on December 8, 2023, exclusively on Hoichoi. The lead role of Ekendra Sen aka Eken Babu, is played by Anirban Chakrabarti.
The two-minute trailer starts with the trio—Ekendra Sen (Anirban Chakrabarti), Promotho (Somak Ghosh), and Bapi (Suhotra Mukhopadhyay)—preparing for their next adventure, a vacation to the Tungkulung forest. The initial moments of the trailer are filled with light and funny interactions among the trio.
However, the plot takes a serious turn when King Shyam Sundar Rana suspects a deadly conspiracy against him. He enlists Ekendra Sen to investigate, fearing for his life. The King possesses a precious diamond that has been missing since his first night.
The trailer skillfully transitions from the humorous beginning to the mysterious side of the series. The original story was penned by the late Sujan Dasgupta, with Padmanabha Dasgupta adapting the screenplay.
The announcement teaser for the series was revealed on November 8. Satyam Bhattacharya, Bodhisatta Majumdar, & Debraj Bhattacharya will be seen in crucial roles in the 7th installment of the Eken Babu web series.
Anirban Chakrabarti's upcoming projects include Kabuliwala, Feludar Goyendagiri (Season 2), Master Moshai Apni Kichu Dekhenni, and Once Upon a Time in Calcutta. Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, featured in Nandini on Addatimes, will also be seen in Dakghor 2.
Joydeep Mukherjee, who recently appeared as an actor in Chhotolok on ZEE5, is gearing up for his upcoming directorial venture, Oporichito.
