On November 7, 2023, Dharma Productions unveiled a new poster and officially confirmed the release date for their upcoming action thriller, "Yodha." The film stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role and serves as the directorial debut of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna are the female leads in this production, which is a collaborative effort between Amazon MGM Studios and Dharma Productions.

Yodha marks Sidharth Malhotra's 15th film and represents the eighth collaboration between him and Dharma Productions, following previous projects such as "Student of the Year," "Hasee Toh Phasee," "Brothers," "Kapoor & Sons," "Baar Baar Dekho," "Ittefaq," and "Shershaah." The screenplay for "Yodha" was crafted by Muhammad Asif Ali, who previously wrote the screenplay for Tadap.

Sagar Ambre brings his experience as a script supervisor from films like "Pathaan," "Mardaani 2," "Dhadak," "Uri: The Surgical Strike," and "Qaidi Band" to his role as the director of "Yodha." Pushkar Ojha, who previously served as a Second Unit or Assistant Director in films like "War," "Kick," and "Pathaan," joins the project as well.

In 2023, Sidharth Malhotra's only film released so far has been "Mission Majnu," while Raashii Khanna was seen in "Farzi," and Disha Patani's most recent appearance was in Ek Villain Returns in 2022.
