Mirza (2024) Bengali movie arrives on EID 2024:

On December 12, 2023, Tollywood actor Ankush Hazra unveiled a new poster for his upcoming film Mirza, confirming its release date. The action thriller, directed by debutant duo Sumeet-Saahil, is set to hit theatres on EID 2024, with shooting commencing on December 13, 2023.

The poster showcases Ankush Hazra holding a gun, and confronting a villain. Oindrila Sen, the female lead, will portray the character of Muskaan in this film produced by Ankush Hazra Motion Pictures. Dibyendu Bhattacharya is cast as the antagonist.

The announcement teaser was revealed on September 8, 2022. Initially, the film was supposed to be jointly produced by Ankush Hazra Motion Pictures and NexGen Ventures Production. However, on December 10, 2022, Ankush Hazra's production house announced a parting of ways due to internal differences.

Arnab Bhaumik penned the story and dialogues, while Aneek Dhar and Ishan Mitra handled the music composition. Animesh Gorui is responsible for cinematography.

It's encouraging to witness actors and producers contributing to the revival of commercial cinema in Bengali films. Previously, Jeet delivered Chengiz and Manush: Child of Destiny, Jeetu Kamal will feature in Bengal Police Chapter 1: M16, and now Ankush Hazra is gearing up for his venture.
