On December 22, 2023, the OTT platform Hoichoi unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming web series, Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo. Directed by Chandrasish Ray, the series marks the OTT debut of Mimi Chakraborty, who portrays the character of criminal lawyer Pritha Roy.
The 2-minute and 15-second trailer provides a glimpse into the story, centered around the murder of IC Tapas Saha. Pritha Roy is determined to deliver justice to Tapas Saha by winning the case and punishing the culprits. However, she faces a formidable opponent in the form of defense lawyer Joyraj Singha (Tota Roy Choudhury), who is representing the four main suspects in the case. The question remains: will Pritha Roy be able to overcome Joyraj Singha?
The trailer editing is commendable, and Tota Roy Choudhury's performance and the background score were compelling. The screenplay and dialogues have been skillfully crafted by Rohit Dey and Soumya. Shibasish Banerjee is credited with the music composition and background score, while Appu Prabhakar handles the cinematography, and Shubhajit Singha edits the web series.
Crucial roles in the series are played by Anujoy Chattopadhyay, Debesh Chattopadhyay, Joydeep Mukherjee, and Prantik Banerjee. Tota Roy Choudhury's last appearance was in the Picasso web series, while Mimi Chakraborty was last seen in Raktabeej.
