Kolonko (2024) Bengali Web Series: Director Abhimanyu Mukherjee & Raima Sen’s Maiden Collaboration

Ritwick Chakraborty and Raima Sen will collaborate for the third time in their careers in director Abhimanyu Mukherjee's upcoming series, Kolonko.

Created by Sahana Dutta, Kolonko revolves around two college friends, Rangan (Ritwick Chakraborty) and Chaiti (Raima Sen), who, after a long friendship, get married with a promise to never lie to each other.

After having two children and on the 20th year of their married life, Rangan informs Chaiti that he is in love with someone else. The story takes a turn due to the mysterious death just after Rangan’s revelation.

Director Abhimanyu Mukherjee has previously worked with Ritwick Chakraborty in Teko, while this is his first collaboration with Raima Sen. There is no official update on the rest of the star cast and the release date of Kolonko yet. Raima Sen's first look from the series was revealed on November 7, 2023, during the grand celebration of her 44th birthday.

Ritwick Chakraborty and Raima Sen previously worked together in Kaushik Ganguly's Shabdo and Churni Ganguly's Tarikh. Ritwick Chakraborty will be seen in Sayantan Ghosal's Rabindra Kabyo Rahasyo, Joydeep Mukherjee's Achinta Aich, Soukarya Ghosal's Bhootpori, and Kaushik Ganguly's Kabaddi Kabaddi.

Abhimanyu Mukherjee's previous directorial venture, Petni premiered on Addatimes this November. This year, Raima Sen was featured in Sayantan Ghosal's Roktokorobi on ZEE5 and Vivek Agnihotri's The Vaccine War.

Sahana Dutta previously collaborated with Raima Sen in the Hello web series and Roktokorobi and with Ritwick Chakraborty in Gora.
