Tekka (2024) Bengali Movie: Dev & Srijit Mukherji’s 2nd Collaboration
On the grand occasion of Superstar Dev’s 41st birthday on December 25, 2023, Dev Entertainment Ventures unveiled the first look poster of their upcoming film, Tekka. Directed by Srijit Mukherji, this film marks the 45th in Dev’s illustrious career.
This marks the second collaboration between Dev and Srijit Mukherji since Zulfiqar. Rukmini Maitra and Swastika Mukherjee will play crucial roles in Tekka, marking the seventh collaboration between Dev and Rukmini Maitra and the first between Dev and Swastika Mukherjee.
The first-look poster features an unidentified man pointing a gun towards a little girl with one hand while holding her hand with the other, designed inside a card in a manner reminiscent of an ace card. As of now, there is no official hint about the storyline from the makers, leaving us eagerly anticipating further updates.
Srijit Mukherji’s Dawshom Awbotaar achieved success at the box office this year. Dev's latest film, Pradhan, is currently being screened in theaters and receiving positive responses from audiences. Swastika was last seen in Shibpur and will also be featured in Durgapur Junction. Rukmini Maitra's recent appearance was in Byomkesh O Durgo Rahasya, and she is set to feature in upcoming projects such as Boomerang, Binodini: Ekti Natir Upakhyan, and Draupadi.
