On January 15, 2024, Sunshine Pictures unveiled the first-look poster and confirmed the release date for their upcoming film, Bastar: The Naxal Story. The movie boasts a star-studded cast with Adah Sharma, Raima Sen, and Vijay Krishna in lead roles. Renowned director Sudipto Sen, known for the blockbuster The Kerala Story, will helm this film.
Adah Sharma is set to portray the character of IG Neerja Madhavan. The promotional campaign kicked off with the release of three compelling posters. The first poster depicts a haunting scene of men suspended on a road, creating an intriguing atmosphere. The second poster captures Adah Sharma on the battlefield, emphasizing the film's intensity, while the third poster introduces the antagonist.
The film is a portrayal of real-life incidents involving Naxals in Chhattisgarh. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and co-produced by Aashin Shah, "Bastar: The Naxal Story" marks Sudipto Sen’s sixth directorial venture. Raima Sen and Vijay Krishna will play pivotal roles, adding depth to the narrative.
In addition to her role in Bastar: The Naxal Story, Adah Sharma will be featured in the upcoming film The Game Of Girgit. Meanwhile, Raima Sen is set to star in the Hoichoi web series Kolonko.
