Chandu Champion (2024) Movie: Kartik Aaryan & Kabir Khan’s Maiden Collaboration
On the grand occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, the production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment unveiled Kartik Aaryan’s first look from his upcoming film, Chandu Champion.
The image showcases Kartik Aaryan, who plays the lead role, in an army uniform adorned with a cap. Directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Kabir Khan Films, this film marks the maiden collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan.
The story, written by Kabir Khan, is complemented by Pritam's music composition and Sudeep Chatterjee's cinematography. Based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist in 1972, renowned for his unwavering determination, the film features Palak Lalwani, Bhuvan Arora, and Adonis Kapsalis in supporting roles.
Kabir Khan, known for directing blockbuster films like "Ek Tha Tiger," "Kabul Express," "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," and "83," is returning to direct a film after more than two years since his last endeavor, "83," in 2021.
Kartik Aaryan has been embracing experimental films and challenging roles in his recent career trajectory, with his portrayal in "Chandu Champion" being one of the most demanding roles he has undertaken to date. Having last appeared in Satyaprem Ki Katha, he is set to feature in upcoming projects such as "Aashiqui 3" and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3."
