Maddock Films, known for delivering cinematic gems such as Love Aaj Kal, Badlapur, Hindi Medium, Stree, Bhediya, Luka Chuppi, and Shiddat, has recently unveiled the title and motion poster for their forthcoming romantic drama, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
Directed by the debutant duo Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah, the film is a joint production by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Maddock Films and Jio Studios. Notably, Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah have previously showcased their storytelling prowess through their work on the script of Babli Bouncer.
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will take on the lead roles, marking their first collaboration. Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya: An Impossible Love Story revolves around Shahid Kapoor's character, a scientist who creates a robot and unexpectedly falls in love with it. Kriti Sanon portrays the role of the robot. The title possibly draws inspiration from the song of the same name by singer Raghav, and there are speculations that the song will be featured in the film.
Veteran actors Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia will play pivotal roles in the movie. In 2023, Kriti Sanon was featured in three films: Ganapath, Adipurush, and Shehzada, while Shahid Kapoor appeared in Bloody Daddy. Kriti Sanon's upcoming projects include The Crew and Do Patti, while Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Rosshan Andrrews directorial action thriller Deva.
