Ahollya (2024) Bengali Movie: Bonny Sengupta & Priyanka Sarkar's Maiden Collaboration
On February 7th, 2024, actor Bonny Sengupta unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming film Ahollya. The film is directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee, and Priyanka Sarkar is the female lead. The first look poster features the lead actors along with a young girl peering out a window where we see a girl falling.
Piya Sengupta produced the film. Arnab wrote the story and script, while Anindya Chatterjee and Amlan are handling the music composition. Anujit Kundu is in charge of cinematography, and Rabi Ranjan Maitra is editing the film.
The horror thriller Ahollya marks the first collaboration between Director Abhimanyu Mukherjee and actors Bonny Sengupta & Priyanka Sarkar. It also marks the first time Bonny Sengupta & Priyanka Sarkar share the screen.
Bonny Sengupta was last seen in director Rohan Sen's Pakdondi, and he will also be featured in director Dr. Krishnendu Chatterjee's Hungama.com, director Rajdeep Ghosh’s Aayurekha, Asim Aktar's Lungi Man, Debraj Sinha's Sob Koro Prem Koro Na, and director Indraadip Dasgupta’s Dear Diary.
Priyanka Sarkar's last appearance was in Kurban opposite Ankush Hazra, and she will also be featured in upcoming films like director Anshuman Pratyush's Dhappa, and director Shiladitya Moulik's Radio. Abhimanyu Mukherjee's last web series, Kolonko, premiered on Hoichoi this January.
