On the grand occasion of Valentine’s Day, Surinder Films unveiled the first look poster of their upcoming romantic drama film, Alaap. Directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki, the film stars Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty in the lead roles, with Swastika Dutta, Tonni Laha Roy, and Kinjal Nanda appearing in supporting roles.
The first look poster features a boy and girl sitting, with details of the star cast and additional text such as "Kolkata," "Delhi," "miss you," "take care," "see you!" "good luck!" and a few heart signs incorporated. There is no official update about the teaser, trailer, and release date of Alaap yet from the makers.
Padmanabha Dasgupta has penned the screenplay, Anupam Roy will compose the music and MD Kalam will edit this romantic drama. This film marks Premendu Bikash Chaki’s second collaboration with Mimi Chakraborty and his first with Abir Chatterjee. Abir Chatterjee & Mimi Chakraborty were last seen together in Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s Raktabeej.
This year, Mimi Chakraborty featured in Jaha Bolibo Shotto Bolibo and Palasher Biye, and she will also appear in Toofan opposite Shakib Khan. Abir Chatterjee appeared in Shri Swapankumarer Badami Hyenar Kobole and is set to feature in Raj Chakraborty’s upcoming film Babli this year.
