The story revolves around Farhan (Pritom Hasan), an orphaned, poor, honest, and brilliant student who is often praised by his principal, Jahangir Alam. He earns his bread and butter by working as a private tutor. One day, while returning to his mess, he encounters Sharmin (Tasnia Farin), who has been chased by a few men and stops beside him after running for some time.
Sharmin, an event organizer with a tragic past in love, took the path Farhan was on as the main road was under construction. They meet several times and develop feelings for each other. The story takes a turn when Farhan receives an opportunity for a scholarship to pursue a Master's degree in Australia. Will Farhan and Sharmin be able to maintain a good long-distance relationship?
The writing is the strongest point of "Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya," apart from the brilliant direction by Shihab Shaheen of "Chuye Dile Mon" fame. Shihab Shaheen and Jahan Sultana deserve praise for their brilliant story and screenplay writing. They focused sufficiently on developing the characters of Farhan and Sharmin, their backgrounds, and their chemistry. The character of Mili (Rupanty) was also well-developed, exploring her relationship with her father, Sharmin's relations with her parents, and her brother.
Tasnia Farin is showing improvement with each project. Recently, she has delivered some fine performances in "Osomoy" and "Mon Duare." She accepts different kinds of challenging characters and portrays them with utmost perfection. Tasnia Farin portrays Sharmin's struggle effectively, depicting her constant efforts to become an independent woman who can support her family and fight for her love.
Pritom Hasan, as Farhan, delivers one of the finest performances of his career. He portrays his inner struggle with poverty and the lack of someone to share his feelings with perfectly. His chemistry with Tasnia Farin is also enjoyable. Rupanty Akid delivers a convincing performance as Mili.
Cinematographer Kamrul Islam Shubho deserves special mention for capturing some amazing moments, such as Farhan's proposal to Sharmin and the stunning climax. Music composer Emon Chowdhury impresses with the song "Megh Balika," while Khayam Sanu Sandhi's background score and Leon Rozario's editing were also impressive.
The romantic drama Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya is a brilliantly executed film by Shihab Shaheen, featuring top-notch performances from Tasnia Farin & Pritom Hasan.
