Stree 2 (2024) Movie: Amar Kaushik's 4th Directorial Film

According to reports, Varun Dhawan will make a cameo appearance as Bhediya in Director Amar Kaushik's upcoming horror thriller, Stree 2, scheduled for release in theaters on August 30, 2024.

The film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in lead roles. It serves as the sequel to the director's debut film, Stree, released in 2018, which was a box office blockbuster, grossing over Rs 180 crores.

In Stree 2, Shraddha Kapoor reprises her role as a witch, while Pankaj Tripathi plays Rudra, Rajkummar Rao as Vicky, Aparshakti Khurana as Bittu, and Abhishek Banerjee as Janna.

Stree 2 marks Amar Kaushik's fourth directorial venture after Stree, Bala, and Bhediya. Additionally, he has directed three short films: "Aaba," "Sone Bhi Do Yaaron," and "Malgook Bidro."

Jishnu Bhattacharjee will handle the cinematography, while Sachin-Jigar and Badshah will compose the music for Stree 2, jointly produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios.

Pankaj Tripathi will also be featured in Murder Mubarak and Metro in Dino, while Rajkummar Rao will be seen in "Sri," "Mr and Mrs Mahi," and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.

Varun Dhawan's upcoming action thriller, Baby John, is generating significant buzz on social media following the release of his first look.
