The 35-second announcement teaser introduces the lead cast, the producer's name, and the release date. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on April 18, 2025. Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan are reuniting for the third time in their careers, following their last release, "Badrinath Ki Dulhania," in 2017. Meanwhile, Shashank Khaitan is reuniting with Janhvi Kapoor for the second time, six years after their last collaboration, "Dhadak," in 2018.
"Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari" marks Shashank Khaitan’s sixth directorial venture, with the common thread across all these movies being Karan Johar as the producer. Shashank Khaitan’s previous directorial venture was "Govinda Naam Mera," starring Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, & Kiara Advani.
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are teaming up for the second time in this film after Nitesh Tiwari’s "Bawaal" in 2023. Varun Dhawan is currently making headlines for his upcoming action thriller, Baby John (VD18), a remake of Atlee’s Theri.
Janhvi Kapoor made a cameo appearance in "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya," starring Shahid Kapoor & Kriti Sanon, and will also be featured in "Devara: Part 1," "Ulajh," and "Mr. & Mrs. Mahi." Additionally, Shashank Khaitan is co-producing the upcoming action thriller "Yodha," starring Sidharth Malhotra.
