Music director Jeet Gannguli has been brought on board to compose the music for director Arindam Sil’s upcoming film Ekti Khunir Sondhaney Mitin. Produced by Surinder Films, the movie stars Koel Mallick, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saheb Chatterjee, Madhurima Basak, Anasua Majumder, and Koneenica Banerjee.
This film marks the first collaboration between Jeet Gannguli and Arindam Sil. Previously, Arindam Sil had worked closely with music director Bickram Ghosh for most of his directorial ventures.
Jeet Gannguli and actress Koel Mallick have previously collaborated on numerous occasions in films such as "Bandhan", "Yuddho", "Shubhodrishti", "Hero", "Ghatak", "Eri Naam Prem", "MLA Fatakeshto", "Premer Kahini", "Bor Asbe Ekhuni", "Mon Mane Na", "Saat Paake Bandha", "Jackpot", "Neel Akasher Chadni", "Bolo Na Tumi Aamar", "Dui Prithibi", "Paglu", "100% Love", "Jaaneman", "Paglu 2", "Rangbaaz", "Herogiri", "Arundhati", "Besh Korechi Prem Korechi", and "Mon Je Kore Uru Uru".
Often referred to as "Hit Gannguli" by fans, music director Jeet Gannguli began his journey in the Bengali film industry with "Premi" in 2004. He has composed music for more than 80 Bengali films and has collaborated with Jeet and Dev the most number of times. He will be completing 20 years in the Bengali film industry on July 30th of this year. The last Bengali film for which Jeet Gannguli composed music was "Abar Bibaho Obhijaan" last year.
