On 16th April 2024, Hoichoi unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming mystery thriller, Adv Achinta Aich. Starring Ritwick Chakraborty, Saswata Chatterjee, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Loknath Dey, and Dulal Lahiri, this thriller will premiere on Hoichoi on 26th April 2024. The series reunites the successful director-actor combination of Joydeep Mukherjee and Ritwick Chakraborty, who previously collaborated on series like Gora and Gora 2.
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer begins with Adv Achinta Aich, portrayed by Ritwick Chakraborty, reminding us that the teaser might have given us an idea of his capabilities as a lawyer. His father (Dulal Lahiri) calls him useless and shameless.
This time, he takes on a case where Malini Dutta (Surangana Bandyopadhyay) has been arrested for murdering her husband, Pablo Dutta, with 15 eyewitnesses testifying against her. Renowned lawyer Sitaram Ganguly (Saswata Chatterjee), who considers himself the embodiment of the law, is Achinta’s opponent in this case.
Despite Achinta losing the case and Malini dying, he discovers some clues and resumes the fight to prove Malini’s innocence. Will Achinta be able to prove Malini innocent?
The story appears gripping, but the trailer reveals much about the plot. The face-off between Ritwick Chakraborty and Saswata Chatterjee promises to be a major attraction of this series. Surangana Bandyopadhyay appears decent in the trailer. Alaknanda Roy, Loknath Dey, Kheya Chattopadhyay, and Sanmitra Bhaumik will portray crucial roles in this series.
Sreejib has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for Adv Achinta Aich, while Subhadeep Guha is responsible for the music composition and background score. Tuban Dey handled the cinematography, Amit Kumar Dutta is the sound designer, and Malay Laha edited this web series.
