On 19th April 2024, ZEE Music Bangla unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming romantic drama film, Eta Amader Golpo. Saswata Chatterjee and Aparajita Adhya pair up for the first time in their careers in Manasi Sinha's directorial debut.
The two-and-a-half-minute trailer tells the story of Shreetama Debi (Aparajita Adhya), a middle-aged woman who attends a laughing club where Mr. Sharma (Saswata Chatterjee), a middle-aged Punjabi man, takes a liking to her and proposes marriage.
Aware of their ages, Shreetama Debi is certain that her family won't support the marriage, and society will not accept them either. However, a few youngsters come forward to support them. Will Shreetama Debi and Mr. Sharma overcome these obstacles and find happiness in their marriage?
Kharaj Mukherjee appears as a tea stall owner who promises to serve tea at Shreetama Debi and Mr. Sharma's wedding. Debdut Ghosh plays the role of Shreetama's son.
The on-screen chemistry between Aparajita Adhya and Saswata Chatterjee is expected to be a major attraction of the film. Sohag Sen, Koneenica Banerjee, Debdut Ghosh, Tareen Jahan, Arya Dasgupta, Pooja Karmakar, and Juiee Sarkar will also play crucial roles in the film.
Manasi Sinha wrote the story, and Debapratim Dasgupta penned the script. The film is produced by Subhash Bera and Suvankar Mitra under the banner of Dhagaa Production.
Pranjal Das composed the music, Amlan Saha is the cinematographer, and Anirban Maity is the editor. The makers released the official teaser on 16th March 2024.
