On 28th June 2024, the OTT platform Klikk unveiled the official teaser of their upcoming thriller Milkshake Murders. Directed by Arnab Riingo Banerjee, the series stars Saurav Das, Trina Saha, and Neel Bhattacharya in the lead roles.
The 1-minute teaser does not reveal much about the plot. It features the three leading characters in various scenes. Neel Bhattacharya is seen by the seaside, shouting, “Mr. Shadow, where are you?” Who is Mr. Shadow? We will have to wait to find out. From the teaser, it seems the plot might revolve around two books, two authors, and numerous murders. The series will premiere on Klikk this July.
Arnab Riingo Banerjee has written the story and screenplay for this series and is also responsible for the cinematography, editing, and music composition. Subarthi Biswas is the art director, and Manishankar Debnath and Agnibha Banerjee are the creative directors.
Earlier in his career, Arnab Riingo Banerjee delivered successful films like Love, starring Jisshu Sengupta and Koel Mallick, and Kranti, starring Jeet, Swastika Mukherjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rishi Kaushik, which were well-received by audiences.
Saurav Das recently impressed everyone with his performance in Sauvik Kundu’s Boomerang. Trina Saha was last seen in the web series Gobhir Joler Machh 2, and Neel Bhattacharya recently appeared in Debaloy Bhattacharya’s Boka Bakshote Bondi.
