On July 28, 2024, Hoichoi unveiled the official poster for their upcoming period romantic drama web series, Parineeta. The series stars Debchandrima Singha Roy as Lalita and Gaurav Chakrabarty as Shekhar, under the direction of Aditi Roy. The story is based on Sharatchandra Chattopadhyay's timeless classic of the same title.
The official poster features Gaurav Chakrabarty and Debchandrima Singha Roy in traditional attire. Gaurav is seen holding a book and looking towards Debchandrima, who is adjusting her necklace. The background showcases a clear blue sky and lush green foliage, creating a pleasant visual appeal.
This series marks the first on-screen collaboration between Gaurav Chakrabarty and Debchandrima Singha Roy. Parineeta, which is part of Hoichoi's "Bengal of Bengal" category, will premiere on Hoichoi on August 15, 2024.
Aditi Roy’s last two series, Lojja, and Noshtoneer 2, were certainly not among her good works, but hopefully, she will deliver something better with Parineeta. Earlier the makers unveiled the official teaser of this series on 20th July 2024.
