On August 7th, 2024, Addatimes unveiled the official poster for their upcoming romantic drama web series Dekhechi Tomake Srabone. Directed by Arijeet Toton Chakrabarty, the series stars Soumya Mukherjee and Neha Amandeep in the lead roles. The series is scheduled to release on Addatimes this September. Tulika Bose, Bharat Kaul, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, and Moyna Mukherjee will play crucial roles in the series.
The official poster features Soumya Mukherjee and Neha Amandeep dressed in traditional attire on a rainy day, standing close to each other under a transparent umbrella, gazing into each other's eyes. Soumya is wearing a white shirt, while Neha is draped in a saree with her hair styled in a braid. This series marks the first time Soumya Mukherjee and Neha Amandeep will share screen space together.
Director Arijeet Toton Chakraborty's previous series, Preme Pora Baron, also premiered on Addatimes. Soumya Mukherjee was last seen in Pariah Vol 1, where he delivered an outstanding performance in a negative role. Neha Amandeep made her acting debut in the 2016 Odia film Hey Prabhu Dekha De. She has since appeared in telefilms such as Jayo Jayo Debi and Prem Chor.
While the content quality on Addatimes has improved over the last couple of years, the majority of new releases on the platform remain focused on romantic drama genres. It would be great to see them explore other genres in the future. The most recent series to premiere on Addatimes was Basanta Ese Gyachhe.
