On 5th January 2025, Shahid Kapoor unveiled the official trailer of his upcoming action thriller film Deva. The film, directed by Rosshan Andrrews, features Shahid Kapoor in the titular role, with Pooja Hegde as the female lead.

The teaser offers a glimpse of Shahid's unfiltered action prowess, seamlessly blending high-energy chases, hand-to-hand combat, and dynamic dance moves to deliver an action-packed experience.
His intense gaze and commanding body language might evoke memories of his portrayal in Kabir Singh. The plot of Deva revolves around Deva portrayed by Shahid Kapoor as a defiant police officer determined to crack a high-profile case that exposes a web of lies, treachery, and a deadly conspiracy.
As Deva delves deeper into the investigation, his path becomes increasingly treacherous, marked by intense chases and heart-stopping action. The story of Deva has been written by Bobby–Sanjay while the screenplay has been written by Bobby–Sanjay, Sumit Arora, Hussain Dalal, Arshad Syed. Vishal Mishra composed the music and Jakes Bejoy composed the background score of this film.
