Celebrating Ram Charan's 40th birthday, the newly launched production house Vriddhi Cinemas marked the occasion by unveiling the title and first-look poster of their maiden venture, Peddi.
Helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film was initially referred to as RC 16, signifying Ram Charan's 16th film as a lead actor. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, making it her maiden collaboration with both Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana.

Naveen Nooli will edit this film marking his 2nd collaboration with director Buchi Babu Sana after Uppena. Produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers, Peddi also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Dibyendu Sharma, and Disha Patani in significant roles.
