On 9th April 2025, the Production House YD Films unveiled the official trailer of their upcoming family drama film Aarii. The film directed by Jiit Chakraborty stars Yash Dasgupta, Nussrat Jahan, Moushumi Chatterjee in the lead roles.

The nearly three-minute trailer hints at a heartwarming story centered around the bond between Jaya (Moushumi Chatterjee), an anterograde amnesia patient, and her son Joy (Yash Dasgupta), with a writer named Aditi (Nussrat Jahan) who becomes intrigued by their touching relationship.

The scenes featuring Moushumi Chatterjee in the trailer are mostly light-hearted and comedic. However, the final one minute of the trailer takes a different turn. It becomes emotionally intense, suggesting that the film will explore deeper emotional layers.

Yash Dasgupta has certainly shown noticeable improvement in his performance. However, there is still room for growth, especially in handling emotional scenes. With time and experience, we hope to see him polish these aspects in his upcoming films.

Abhijeet Guha, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Unmesh Ganguly, and Somraj Maity play crucial roles in the film, with each making a brief appearance in the trailer. The film, produced by Yash Dasgupta and Nussrat Jahan under the banner of YD Films, is slated for a theatrical release on 25th April 2025.
