Koratala Siva's directorial political action drama film Bharat Ane Nenu will re release in theatres on 19th April 2025. The film, featuring Mahesh Babu, Kiara Advani, and Prakash Raj in lead roles, was originally released in the theatres on 20 April 2018.
Backed by producer D. V. V. Danayya, the film was made under the production house DVV Entertainments. With a production budget of approximately ₹65 crore, the film achieved a strong box office performance, grossing nearly ₹150 crore.
The film received recognition at the Zee Cine Awards Telugu, where Koratala Siva won Best Dialogues and Kiara Advani was honored as the Best Find of the Year – Female. The film marked Kiara Advani's debut in Telugu and her maiden collaboration with Mahesh Babu.
At the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA), the film earned several nominations including Best Film – Telugu for DVV Entertainments, Best Actor – Telugu for Mahesh Babu, Best Female Debut – Telugu for Kiara Advani, and Best Male Playback Singer – Telugu for Kailash Kher.
Bharat Ane Nenu marked the 4th directorial venture of Koratala Siva after Mirchi, Srimanthudu, and Janatha Garage. The film marked the maiden collaboration between Kiara Advani and director Koratala Siva. The film marked the 2nd collaboration between Mahesh Babu and director Koratala Siva after Srimanthudu in 2015.
Tirru, marking his second collaboration with director Koratala Siva after Janatha Garage, handled the cinematography alongside renowned cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran, who teamed up with the director for the first time.
